Originally founded over 20 years ago by David Tate and based in the Lake District, Lilliput Lane (now operated by Enesco) is a world leader in hand-painted miniature cottages.  The cottages produced by the company are based on real properties which allows the casual viewer to see the company's meticulous attention to detail.  Lilliput Lane also produces designs based on American, Dutch, German and French cottages.
